Electronic Arts와 DICE가 새로운 예고편을 발표했습니다. 스타 워즈 : 최전선 2, which focuses on the game’s new Starfigher Assault mode. This is a new space battle mode that’s the aerial equivalent of the Assault Mode, where players take on the roles of the classic, and new, heroes and villains from the 스타 워즈 movies and Clone Wars.
The trailer goes through the basic heroes/villains that players will be able to command, including Darth Vader, Luke, Poe, Ashoka, Anakin, and Han Solo. You can check out the trailer below.
The trailer, as with all the 스타 워즈 : 최전선 2 trailers from DICE, looks like a cinematic masterpiece. The in-engine sequences showcases to gamers what the power of the Frostbite 3 brings to the table.
There’s absolutely no denying that DICE are masters when it comes to engineering gorgeous looking games with in-engine assets that look better than most games’ actual cinematic sequences. However, the gameplay for 스타 워즈 : 최전선 2 is still just an extension of what the game was from the original. Unlike Free Radical’s 스타 워즈 : 최전선 3, you don’t get ground and space battles in one match, together.
A lot of the comments on the YouTube video have criticized DICE and EA for having female Clone pilots, but others retorted that it was likely Ashoka in the Republic fighter.
Others complained about how the game still doesn’t have ground-to-space battles like how it was featured in the cancelled 스타 워즈 : 최전선 3. A few more complained overall about the microtransactions and Electronic Arts being Electronic Arts.
There’s a lot of anti-hype currently surrounding the game, in addition to the worries mounting over a campaign mode that some feel will be more Social Justice Warrior propaganda, since one of the lead writers from Motive (the studio working on the campaign mode) was a former IGN writer and one of the members of the GameJournoPros, the secret organization that was responsible for pushing the whole “#GamerGate is a harassment campaign”.
It will be interesting to see how well this game does sales-wise, especially with the pay-to-win cash shop, the claims of people going in expecting a feminist-themed campaign mode, and a lot of the same limitations still carrying over from the original 스타 워즈 : 최전선 2015에서.
